Alloy beams use extrusion technology to form aluminum materials into the required shape and size through molds and welding. Due to the light weight and strong corrosion resistance of aluminum materials, alloy beams have become one of the most common scaffolding accessories in all application scenarios such as large-span temporary roofs and suspended scaffolding.

Common alloy beams include I-beams and X-beams.

One of the American standard beams is the I-beam, which is a structural beam designed to support itself over a long span. I-beams are commonly used in the construction industry, with typical applications including commercial premises and residential structural components such as rafters, awnings, trailers, overhead supports and walkways. Depending on the application and size requirements, you can bolt, rivet, or weld each I-beam together to the final required length.

Alloy X-beam comes in two sizes, 450mm and 750mm. 750mm alloy beams are a high-strength, high-quality alternative to traditional alloy beams. Specially designed according to BS8118 standards, after many aspects of testing, this product is finally designed with capacity, load-bearing capacity, corrosion resistance and portability. The 750mm alloy beams are deeper and heavier than the 450mm series, and the allowable working loads in both bending moment and shear are more than twice that of the 450mm, so users can achieve the same load with fewer alloy beams, thus reducing labor and installation time. Alloy beam is suitable for 48.3 mm pipe and fitting scaffolding. alloy beams are much lighter than steel and are faster and easier to install, saving construction time. We also offer beam connection sleeves to make connecting multiple beams easy.

The main features of 750mm alloy beam include:

- Designed to easily attach accessories to any scaffolding structure.

- Less than half the weight of steel beams. And 1.5 times stronger.

- Tested and compliant with European standards.

- Connection via 4-bolt bushing system.
