Scaffolding blog

Common scaffolding couplers on the market include single couplers and double couplers. A double coupler is a scaffolding clamp that connects two intersecting steel pipes. Based on the connection angle, it can be divided into right-angle couplers and swivel couplers. Based on the manufacturing process, it can be divided into pressed couplers and drop-forged couplers.

Swivel couplers are used to connect two steel pipes that intersect at any angle, making them useful for creating multi-angle scaffolding systems. These scaffolding couplers can rotate, allowing for flexible angles, and are primarily used for diagonal bracing in scaffolding structures.

Swivel couplers are also known as swivel clamps, swivel scaffolding fittings. Our swivel coupler connect two scaffolding tubes at any angle and are suitable for 48.3mm steel tubes. We offer drop-forged and pressed manufacturing methods, and we also offer a typing service. Customization is also possible upon request. All of our swivel coupler meet EN74 and BS1139 standards.

Scaffolding couplers are a type of scaffolding component, commonly used to connect scaffolding pipes. With their widespread use on construction sites, scaffolding couplers are playing an increasingly important role in scaffolding systems. Scaffolding couplers are crucial during the construction process, securing scaffolding systems. Couplers serve a variety of important purposes in scaffolding systems. Couplers help construct scaffolding systems, securing workers, tools, and materials at height during construction, maintenance, or renovation.

The common scaffolding couplers on the market currently have different types and weights, and the price of each type of scaffolding coupler is different. The weight of the coupler is also a factor that affects the price, and there are significant differences in the price of double couplers of different weights.

Scaffolding coupler is used to fix horizontal components such as scaffold transom, scaffold ledger, scaffolding plank in the vertical scaffolding tube to form a stable scaffolding system, so that workers can walk, construct and transport materials safely and stably on the scaffolding platform. A completed scaffolding system requires a variety of different types of scaffolding couplers. Next, I will introduce to you what specific functions different scaffolding couplers have?
