Features and Use of EK Scaffolding Walk Boards

Scaffolding walk boards has advanced features of fire prevention, sand accumulation prevention, light weight, corrosion resistance, alkali resistance and compressive strength. The convex holes on the scaffolding plank surface are flanged and depicted by double ribs with one rib on each side. The anti-slip effect is good; the effect of inverted triangular double ribs on both sides enhances the fastness of the steel plank; the regular spacing of the holes is standard and beautiful in appearance, Durable (normal construction can be used continuously for 6-8 years).

1. Anti-sand steel plank has punching holes and reinforcement ribs on its surface. The punching holes are upwardly protruding, which can play an anti-slip role. The reinforcement ribs are concave downward, which can enhance the bearing capacity of Anti-deposited sand steel plank and solve the drainage problem of Anti-sand steel plank board surface.
2. The material of Closed steel plank is Q195 and Q235 steel strips, which have anti-corrosion effect and can increase the service life of steel plank.
3. Anti-sand steel plank adopts fully enclosed welding, which is fireproof, anti-sand accumulation, light weight, corrosion-resistant, alkali-resistant and has high compressive strength. It can effectively prevent the accumulation of steel sand, cement and sand and other materials on the pedal during painting operations, and prevent the cement sand accumulated in Closed steel plank from falling, so that workers can work on the scaffolding more safely.
4. Closed type steel plank has a smooth surface, no burrs, is not easy to rust, and has stable performance. 320mm Scaffolding Walk Boards

Our Aluminum Plywood Walk Boards is a more cost efficient alternative to our all aluminum board. Our deck is heavy duty and rated for 75 lbs./sq. ft. The 7′ scaffolding plank holds a total of over 7,000 lbs before failure. Aluminum reinforcement on the bottom of the deck adds extra strength to create a safe and OSHA compliant scaffold platform. It has hooks on each end to attach to scaffolding frames.

LVL Walk Boards

LVL stands for laminated veneer lumber and contain numerous thin layers of wood that are laminated together by glue. The wood grain on each layer should face opposite directions for maximum strength. The advantage of these scaffolding walk boards is that they cost less than the solid lumber boards, they are very uniform (no knots or defects), and you don’t have to worry about the scaffolding walk boards splitting on the ends.
