Painting Cuplock Scaffolding System Standard
Cuplock Scaffolding System is the most commonly used system scaffolding in the world. The official name of this scaffolding system is cuplok, but most people know it as Cuplock. EK cuplock scaffolding system is used for support and access structures in construction industry, offshore construction, industrial maintenance, and ship building. And all cuplock scaffolding parts are designed and manufactured to meet all scaffolding industry standard.
Scaffolding cup locks consist of a fixed bottom cup welded at 50 mm intervals and a removable top cup that can hold up to four components. The cup lock standard provides vertical support for the entire scaffolding cuplock system.
Cuplock scaffolding consist of a fixed bottom cup (welded every 50 mm) and a removable top cup (up to four components can be fixed). The cup lock standard provides vertical support for the entire scaffolding cup lock system.
Cup locks are vertical support components in cuplock scaffolding systems, and are usually painted or powder coated to prevent corrosion and enhance their durability. The painting process helps to extend the service life of the scaffolding and improve its resistance to environmental factors.
Painting or powder coating cup locks is a common method to prevent rust and corrosion of steel, especially in outdoor construction environments. The coating process usually includes surface treatment, such as passivation, followed by painting or powder coating. Painted cup-shaped standard parts have higher corrosion resistance, longer service life and better overall appearance.
Cuplock standard parts are usually made of high-grade steel such as Q235, Q345 or Q460, and manufactured according to standards such as EN74, BS1139 or AS1576.
In addition to painting, cup-shaped standard parts can also be hot-dip galvanized (HDG) or powder-coated.
