Wedge-Lock Formwork Clamp Also known as a heavy-duty formwork clamp or fastener, this wedge-style clamp is a core component of formwork systems. It utilizes a wedge-locking mechanism to simultaneously align, tighten, and seal the joints between formwork panels, effectively preventing concrete slurry leakage.

Structural Components:

C-shaped/Curved Cast-Forged Jaws: Grip the edge frames or flanges of two adjacent formwork panels.

Wedge-shaped Driving Pin (Handle Section): Passes vertically through the clamp body; hammering drives the wedge downward, utilizing the mechanical self-locking principle of the inclined plane to generate powerful inward tension, tightly sealing the joint between panels.

Surface Finish:

Silver/White Zinc or Galvanized (Sides): Electroplated white zinc or cold galvanizing; features a bright finish and basic corrosion resistance.

Installation Steps:

Hook the clamp's two jaws onto the edge flanges of the adjacent formwork panels;

Strike the top wedge handle firmly downwards with a hammer;

The wedge mechanism drives the clamp to tighten inwards, ensuring a seamless, flush lock between panels;

To dismantle, simply strike the bottom of the wedge handle upwards with a hammer to quickly release the lock.
