    A: A professional steel prop should have a 100mm safety gap at the top of the outer tube. This prevents the inner tube from dropping completely and crushing the operator's hand during dismantling.

3.Q: How to maintain the self-cleaning function of the Collar Nut?

    A: Our props feature a Self-Cleaning Thread design. To maintain this: Ensure the nut is rotated fully through the thread after each use to expel dried concrete slurry. Do not apply heavy grease, which can trap abrasive sand; instead, use dry lubricants or simply keep the threads clear of physical debris.
