Steel scaffolding planks are a common type of scaffolding walk board, also known as steel scaffolding planks, galvanized steel planks, hot-dip galvanized steel planks, etc. The surface is made of carbon steel using cold working and hot-dip galvanizing processes, providing fire resistance and corrosion resistance, with a normal service life of 5-8 years.
Currently, scaffolding planks are manufactured in two ways: welded and riveted.
Welded steel scaffolding planks have higher overall strength, but the welded parts are more prone to rust, and maintenance is more troublesome.
Riveted steel scaffolding planks use a riveting process for the hooks; although the hooks are also prone to damage, maintenance is simpler.
