What is Shore Post？
Shore post are adjustable with closed heights and open heights under formwork. It carries loads in concrete slabs, beams, columns, and walls. The shore post are composites of inner tubes, outer tubes, top and bottom plates, props sleeves with treads, robust prop nuts, lock pins, etc.
Shore post is also called adjustable steel props，telescopic prop，adjustable prop，acrow props，prop jacks, steel props, shoring props, formwork props, construction props, shuttering props, building props, steel support, post shore, etc. All post shore are adjustable with closed heights and open heights.
Shore post are manufactured by steel scaffold tubes or aluminum tubular profiles. Thus there are shore post and aluminum shoring posts.
Steel shoring posts can take more weight from the concrete than aluminum props. While the cost is much cheaper too. In order to make the steel shoring posts more durable with longer life, you can ask for hot-dip galvanizing finished shoring posts. HDG steel post shore can be repeated using at least 10 years with rusty.

2. What is the load-bearing capacity that acrow propping need to meet?
Based on the slab thickness, volume and concrete density, you can calculate how much weight the scaffolding posts need to take from the concrete, and then decide which shoring posts to choose: light or heavy?
