The double coupler is right angle scaffold clamp. It is used to connect two mutually perpendicular steel pipes at 90 degree. It is also called a 90 degree scaffold clamp.

In building construction, they are used to fix steel pipe scaffolds with an outer diameter of 48.3mm.
