Selection of scaffolding planks
1. Choose scaffolding planks with appropriate load-bearing capacity according to the requirements of the construction site
2. The surface treatment of scaffolding planks needs to be smooth and free of defects such as rust and damage
3. Scaffolding planks should choose materials with strong pressure resistance and non-deformation, such as hot-dip galvanized flat steel, etc.
Laying method of scaffolding planks
1. Scaffolding planks should be laid on three crossbars. Two crossbars can be used for scaffolding pedals less than 2 meters. At the same time, the two ends of the scaffolding planks need to be fixed to the crossbars to prevent tipping over.
2. When scaffolding planks are overlapped, the joints must be fixed on the crossbars, the overlap length needs to be greater than 200mm, and the crossbars extending outwards should not be less than 100mm.
3. Scaffolding planks need to be 120-150mm away from the wall.
4. The scaffolding walk boards at the corners and ramp platforms should be reliably connected to the horizontal bars to prevent sliding.
Installation height of scaffolding planks
The bottom of the scaffolding planks should be no less than 1.2 meters above the ground, and the span between scaffolding planks should be adjusted according to different types of scaffolding.
Installation spacing of scaffolding planks
1. The installation spacing between scaffolding planks should be kept within 40cm to ensure the stability when the staff steps on it.
2. Scaffolding planks on the same floor should be staggered left and right to increase the stability of the scaffolding.
Connection method of scaffolding planks
1. Scaffolding planks and crossbars should be connected with screws, wire ropes or fasteners.
2. Scaffolding planks need to be installed strictly in accordance with the standards specified in the on-site construction drawings.
Precautions for building scaffolding planks
1. Scaffolding planks must be built stably on the crossbars without tilting or warping.
2. Do not drill holes in the middle of scaffolding planks.
3. During the laying of scaffolding planks, fasteners cannot be disassembled or moved at will, and it must be ensured that the fasteners are not loose.
4. When laying scaffolding planks, safety protection equipment such as seat belts and helmets must be used.
5. It is prohibited to hang or place heavy objects on scaffolding planks, and the design limit must not be exceeded during operation.
6. When working on scaffolding planks, it is strictly prohibited to jump or run on scaffolding planks.
7. Scaffolding planks that are cracked or bent and those that have exceeded their service life should be replaced in time;
The construction and use of scaffolding planks must be carried out in strict accordance with relevant specifications to ensure safety during the construction process. During use, special testing tools are also needed to test the bearing capacity of scaffolding planks to ensure its service life and safety. As one of the basic infrastructures for each layer of scaffolding, scaffolding planks need to be inspected and accepted by professionals after installation.
