The scaffolding jack base (screw jack) is used as the starting base of the scaffold, and provides stability by adjusting the jack nut of the base on uneven ground, and is used for level adjustment of the system scaffolding according to different underground heights. Adjustable jack base are also called adjustable screw jacks, scaffold jacks, leveling jacks, base jacks or jack bases, etc.

How a Jack Base Works?

Place the jack base on a stable base, then attach the scaffolding system's columns to the base jack's threaded rod. Workers can adjust the height of the scaffolding columns by rotating the base jack's nut, ensuring the scaffolding system is balanced and stable.

What is the use of jack base in scaffolding?

A jack base is an adjustable base in a scaffolding system that stabilizes the scaffolding structure on uneven ground and is essential for creating a level scaffolding platform. By adjusting the height and screw angle of the jack base, precise leveling can be achieved, enhancing the overall stability of the scaffolding structure, reducing the risk of tipping, and ensuring a safer working environment.

A jack base  is also sometimes called a leveling jack or screw leg. They are designed to provide a level foundation for your scaffolding platform. The bottom of the jack base has a 4" X 4" fixed bottom plate as a foot. This base plate is designed to be fastened (by nails or screws) to a wood clay base plate. These jacks can be raised up to 12" to ensure the scaffolding platform is level. They work like a giant screw where the base of the scaffolding frame rests on a nut that can be raised or lowered by turning clockwise or counterclockwise. The maximum of the base jack The extended height is 18". Most base jacks have a built-in stop so that the maximum height will not be exceeded. (For mobile scaffolding, the maximum height of the jack base is 12".) The jack is secured to the on the scaffolding frame.

Why choose EKscaffold adjustable jack base
