Kwikstage Diagonal Brace Technical Specifications

Material Composition: High-tensile steel tube (typically Q235 grade).

Product Description

Kwikstage Diagonal Brace

The Kwikstage diagonal brace is a vital component of the modular Kwikstage scaffolding system, serving to form the diagonal member of a scaffold bay and thereby provide structural rigidity. It enhances the system's stability against wind and sway loads, ensures the squareness of the bay, and maintains vertical alignment. This diagonal bracing significantly boosts the strength and stability of Kwikstage towers and frameworks.

Kwikstage diagonal braces are manufactured from standard scaffolding steel tube (48.3 x 3.0 mm). Each end is fitted with a pressed 'C' bracket and a wedge pin, secured to the tube body using Grade 8.8 bolts and nuts.

Sizing & Installation

Brace lengths are manufactured to match the width and bay spacing of Kwikstage systems. While complete dimensions range from 0.73 m to 3.6 m depending on the manufacturer, the most common standard sizes include:
